Serious Play Conference

I’ll be talking at the Serious Play conference in Toronto next week! My slides are based on the Ludic Language Pedagogy book I co-wrote with Jonathan deHaan. The book should be out later this year, too. The talk is about making SPACE for students to play, so taps into my recent LLP zine also.

Some notes — having done so many presentations on LLP, TBLT gaming, and given my thoughts on terms like ludic, gamification, etc., I feel like my presentations are becoming stronger, and a big collage of stuff that I’ve done in the past. Borrowing from multiple different talks.
